The young Mrs. Davidson steps in to take over day to day operations of the 2 year old business when Eastman must lend his watch making abilities to the war effort. Luckily he was posted to Ottawa and was able to work on the business in the evenings and do the shop's watch and jewellery repairs. During his remarkable and successful career, founder Eastman Davidson gave back to the community he felt so fortunate to be a part of. He was the President of the Glebe Merchant's Association and the Ottawa Jeweller's Association.
2011Her most recent honour, Judy is recognized by the Canadian Jeweller's Association as the recipient of the prestigious Chairman's Award, in recognition of her contributions to the betterment of the Canadian jewellery industry by conscientiously maintaining the highest professional standards throughout her career.
